Art without Borders
Art without Borders mural commission took place in Agua Prieta, Mexico
the border town to Douglas, Arizona. Highlighting native flora from both regions,
it was my hope to illustrate the unity of both cities through the seamlessness of
their natural environments in a time where the conversation surrounding community
and humanity is of utmost importance.

Community Mural Collaboration
I also worked with local Agua Prietan female artist Lupita on a collaborative mural which spoke to both her and my heritage as well as our connectivity as women.
Both unable to communicate via language, we used art as a connecting point to bridge our two worlds and celebrate art as our common language.
