Dolby Art Series

I had the pleasure of participating in Dolby Laboratories Artist Series - the works of which are displayed both at Dolby HQ in SF and offices globally.

My work is displayed in the Wroclaw Poland. I think that technology at its best is transparent to the user; where the burden of labor is replaced by surprise

and delight and where our senses are gently augmented so as to never feel synthetic.

Dolby’s technology aspires to this seamless integration; to make the experience natural and as a consequence more powerful.

This theme was the genesis and inspiration for the various original artwork proposals. With this in mind, my focus was to create

a piece that illustrates these ideas; that of merging nature within digital realities. The representation of nature as is typical in

my work is used to camouflage Dolby’s double D’s. The logo is always visible but the user must actively look or engage with the

artwork and by definition, participate in the act of finding the digital in the organic - the double D’s in nature.
